Terms and conditions

These terms cover the use of this website and the sale of any vehicle bought through 234Wheels. By browsing the site or making an enquiry you accept them.

Who we are

234Wheels is a motor vehicle dealership registered in Nigeria under company number [RC number], trading from [full registered address]. You can reach us on the numbers and channels shown in the footer of every page.

What a listing is

Every listing describes one specific vehicle that we have in stock or can source, and the photographs are of that vehicle unless the listing says otherwise. A listing is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. Stock changes daily and a vehicle can be sold between your reading about it and contacting us.

We describe condition as accurately as we can, including faults and outstanding work. Mileage is reported as the odometer reads. Where we cannot independently verify a vehicle’s history or mileage we say so in the listing rather than state a figure we cannot stand behind.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Nigerian naira and are the price of the vehicle only. Registration, insurance, delivery outside [included delivery area], and any accessory fitted at your request are quoted separately and in writing before you commit.

Prices can change without notice until a sale is agreed. Payment is by [accepted payment methods]. We do not take payment in cash above [cash limit], and we will never ask you to send money to a personal account or to any account other than the one named on our invoice. If anybody contacts you claiming otherwise, stop and call us on a number from this website.

Deposits

A deposit reserves a vehicle and takes it off sale for [reservation period]. We do not take a deposit before you have seen the vehicle or had it inspected. If we withdraw the vehicle, misdescribe it, or fail to deliver it within the agreed period, your deposit is refunded in full. [State whether a deposit is refundable if the buyer changes their mind, and within what window.]

Inspection

You are welcome to inspect any vehicle before buying and to bring your own mechanic. We strongly encourage it. Once you have taken delivery, you accept the vehicle in the condition it was in at that point, subject to your legal rights and to any warranty below.

Warranty and your rights

[Describe the warranty you offer, what it covers, for how long or how many kilometres, and what voids it. If you sell vehicles without a warranty, say so plainly here.]

Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or any other Nigerian law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Swaps and trade ins

Where we accept your vehicle against the price of one of ours, our valuation is based on its condition as inspected and on what comparable vehicles are selling for at that time. The valuation holds for [valuation validity period] and assumes the vehicle is delivered in the condition inspected, with clear title, no outstanding finance, and complete documentation. You confirm you are entitled to sell it.

Delivery

We deliver nationwide. Delivery timescales quoted are estimates in good faith and depend on distance, road conditions and vehicle preparation. Risk in the vehicle passes to you on delivery; title passes when we have received payment in full.

Using this website

The content of this site, including photographs and vehicle descriptions, belongs to 234Wheels. You may not copy our listings or images for use in another advertisement. You may not scrape the site, attempt to interfere with it, or use it to send anything unlawful.

We work hard to keep listings accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the site is free of errors or always available. Where a listing contains an obvious error of price or specification, we are not obliged to sell at the mistaken terms.

Liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, our liability in connection with a vehicle is limited to the price you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of [state] have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would always rather resolve a complaint directly, so please contact us first.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day the sale was agreed.
